Updated 7/11/14

strong>Texas 1-
Incumbent:   Louie Gohmert (R) Since 2004. 10 Years !!! .

How he affected our lives and what we need to remember:

- 7/29/11. Voted NO on raising the debt ceiling. Thus trying to avert our financial doom.

- 9/14/11. Very smartly authored The “passthisbill” American Jobs Act HR2911 that President Obama wants. This bill is not quite what Obama wanted to hike our taxes, it offers a tax cuts. Who said Conservatives don’t have a sense of humor. Kudos!

- 11/18/11. Voted NO on the balance budget amendment without a cap on spending which their own party concoted. It gives free reign to spend with no end in sight, and because the it is a “balance budget”, they have to raise taxes to meet spending. Kudos for voting against this fake budget amendment.

- 9/13/12. Voted NO on raising the debt ceiling and adding another $1.047 trillion to the deficit [HJ RES 17], trying to get our financial house in order.

- 1/1/13. Vote NO on “The Fiscal Cliff Bill” (the TV version) HR 8 or “How to hit more of Middle-class workers income by lying to them” (the real story version). Workers making between $30,000 and $200,000 will see their paychecks shrink. By focusing on “the rich” Congress managed to soak all of us with their “Cliff” BS while not curtailing their own spending. Kudos for trying to expose this sham.

How he affected our lives and what we need to remember:

- Oct. 2008. Voted NO on TARP. (You know the first bailout that got us circling the drain.) One of the few Republicans who has the balls to vote against what his own party pushed for. Apparently he has been at the forefront of fiscal-conservative policy.

Incumbent:    Joe Barton   (R) since 1984.    30 Years !!!!! Born 1949.

How he affected our lives and what we need to remember:

- 4/14/10 Even though I hate the fact that they sit in Washington forever, Joe Barton should get a lot of credit today. He stood up to Henry Nostrils Waxman and his intimidation and witch hunt tactics, and fought for the First Amendment right for free speech. Nostrils backed down and canceled the inquisition style hearing he was about to start.

- 6/16/10 BP was forced to put aside $20 Billion to pay for damages or something. Joe stood up again and and called this what it really is, a “shakedown” and “slush fund”. Barton was forced by the Republicrats to apologize for his comment. I wished he hadn’t apologized. BTW, This fund is to be managed by Ken Feinberg (another sh.t hole). Give Joe Barton a lot of credit for speaking the truth, which is a rare commodity these days.

- 7/29/11. Voted for raising the debt ceiling. Thus opened the door to higher taxes, defense cuts, and inevitable bankruptcy path.

Texas 18 -
Incumbent:   Sheila Jackson Lee (D) since 1994.    20 Years of this PoD.

How she affected our lives and what we need to remember:

- She is a card carrying member of the Socialist Party of America now called the Democratic Socialists of America. (Because Democratic is something Americans like.) Actually, she is a Vice-Chair of the party.

- 2/12/2010 Good news!! Sheila is going to Haiti to eulogize in 200,000 funerals or something. She boasts about bringing back $157 Billion dollars back to her district.

Where is it? Her district has up to 17% unemployment, 32% school drop outs. In 16 years in Washington, she never authored and passed a bill. Sure, she piggy backed on others’ bills. But 16 years??? Come on, District 18, don’t you have any pride? The arrogance of this Congresswoman goes beyond description. When asked a question about the healthcare bill in a townhall meeting, she completely ignored the woman… well, see for yourself.

- 4/27/10. Congress voted to not receive a cost of living adjustments during 2011 (HR5146). 402 members agreed to forgo their own raise. Not this member. Sheila however does not give a rat’s ass about people who are out of work, people who are scrambling to make ends meet. She voted to give herself that raise. You need to remember this! She’s done enough damage.

- She voted yes on Obamacare.

- Voted YES on Cap and Trade. Do not forgive her for destroying the U.S. economy. Coupled with sitting in Washington too long it is time to get her out.

- 5/24/10 Sheila Scumbag Lee stood up and cheered and clapped when Felipe Calderon, the Mexican dirt trashed our country in his speech to Congress. This action clearly indicates the Sheila agrees with him and she supports illegal activities and not our laws.

- 7/15/10 – Listen up District 18 voters! Aren’t you sick of this ignoramus running your lives? She is such an uneducated moron. 37 Years ago, in 1973, Vietnam became ONE. This ignorant boor talks about North and South Vietnam living side by side in harmony. For 37 years there was no North and South Vietnam. Just Vietnam. We should put her side by side next to the idiot from Georgia who thought the island Guam might capsize.

They can live together in harmony. Ugh… We do need to fix the education system.
From the boor’s own mouth:

-11/2/10. Won the election. (I tell ya, even fools deserve a Congressman.)

-  12/2/10. Voted to increase taxes. (Why? The more is taken out of our earned money, the less we have to spend at a restaurant, the faster that restaurant will fold leaving more people unemployed.)

- 12/8/10. Voted YES on the DREAM Act. It allows illegals who have committed up to two misdemeanors (and not just nonviolent ones) to qualify for legalization and, it would grant an automatic ten-year work permit to anyone who applies under the act even if they lie on their application.

- 1/18/2011. She claims the repealing Obamacare is “unconstitutional”. Hotair.com reported this story. I cringed. I live in a district next door to Sheila’s and I truly hoped we can keep this embarrassing garbage local…. I watched her yesterday and just had to turn the TV off.

-3/2/2011. Sheila regularly refers to the people who work for her as “stupid motherf*ckers,”. Believe it or not, her staffers wish that were the worst of the abuses they endure. The Daily Caller had an expose on her.  Uggh.

- 7/29/11. Voted for raising the debt ceiling. Thus opened the door to higher taxes, defense cuts, and inevitable bankruptcy path.

- 9/13/12. Voted YES on raising the debt ceiling and adding another $1.047 trillion to the deficit (HJ RES 17). This was done quietly so voters won’t pay attention because elections are around the corner.

- 9/14/12. At a press conference Sheila thanked President Obama for his executive order to stop deportation of illegal immigrants, and stressed that those here illegally need to be allowed to unionize.

- 1/1/13. Vote YES on H.R. 8 “The Fiscal Cliff Bill” (the TV version) or “How to hit more of Middle-class workers income by lying to them” (the reality version). Workers making between $30,000 and $200,000 will see their paychecks shrink. By focusing on “the rich” Congress managed to soak all of us with their Cliff BS while not curtailing their own spending.

- 10/4/13. Shameful you hate women and children that much that you voted NO on funding for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (HJ RES 75) when the government was shut down. Solely because this resolution was proposed by the Republicans.

- 3/12/14. Ugh, this Moran opened her mouth again… she has a political science degree from Yale. Must be another Affirmative Action degree…. So Sheila declares the U.S. Constitution to be 400 years old , which would mean it was signed in 1614

)

Sheila is off by only 173 years. It was adopted on Sep. 17, 1787.

- She is a card carrying member of the Socialist Party of America now called the Democratic Socialists of America. (Because Democratic is something Americans like.)

- 4/27/10. Congress voted to not receive a cost of living adjustments during 2011 (HR5146). 402 members agreed to forgo their own raise. Not this member. Eddie however does not give a rat’s ass about people who are out of work, people who are scrambling to make ends meet. She voted to give herself that raise. You need to remember this!

Throw her out. She’s done enough damage.

Co sponsored HR 1503, authored by Bill Posey of Floria, which is an amendment to the Federal Election Campaign Act which would require candidates for President of the U.S. to provide a copy of the candidate’s birth certificate. This amendment will spur a slew of definitions regarding natural birth vs. granted citizenship. (This is more important today than ever in our history as more candidates will originate by birth from other countries. Article II of the Constitution says “No Person except a natural born Citizen… shall be eligible to the Office of President”)

  1. Something else folks need to know about Ted Poe-he has voted yes on every bill that strips our Constitutional Rights -the Patriot Act to being a sponsor & really pushing CISPA-which is just a GOP version of SOPA but worse. As a former Judge his pushing of CISPA is not a surprise-who needs a court order to spy on American citizens & access their personal information from places like Facebook & Google.

  2. Tell me what tremendous pocily initiatives are emanating from the CBC these days? I don’t think the CBC is relevant enough on pocily to matter as far as Anh Cao is concerned. I doubt they will be at the forefront of anything that really makes a difference to black folks lives outside of the same old political same old. It won’t matter to the results he gets for his district whether he is in or out.
